The PhD in Economics is a three-year program. During (and only for) the first year, students will be required to take courses on specific topics taught by members of the faculty board as well as by recognized scholars who are not members of the board. Each course will have a final examination. In the second and third year, candidates will start working on their dissertation project under the supervision of a Faculty Board member.
Throughout this period, all the students will be required to spend a research period abroad and will have the opportunity to participate to national and international conferences.
The teaching program for the first year is the following:
- pre-courses;
- modules common to the three curricula (Economics and Institutions – E&I; Economics and Business –E&B; Quantitative Methods for Economics – QME);
