Katiuscia Lavoratori wins “Andrea Vaona” Award

Katiuscia Lavoratori has been awarded the “Andrea Vaona” Award for the best Doctoral Dissertation in Economics


Katiuscia Lavoratori has been awarded the “Andrea Vaona” Award for the best Doctoral Dissertation in Economics. The award is supported by the Department of Economics and Management of University of Trento and the Department of Economic Sciences at the University of Verona to honor the memory of the late Andrea Vaona, a brilliant researcher who died prematurely.

Katiuscia obtained her PhD in Economics from the Department of Economics at the University of Perugia in 2018 with her thesis on “Agglomeration, Location and Productivity”, under the supervision of Prof. Davide Castellani.She is now a research fellow in Strategy and International Business at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick (UK), after a post-doc at Henley Business School, University of Reading (UK).
